I have several incidents in when my order was wrong. My last one cosisted of a drive thru order. Half of my order was missing. I parked and went inside to get it. Of course I had to wait in line. When I got the remainder of my order, the cashier did not even apolpgize. Then I get back into my car with my cold burgers to realize they had not put napkins or straws into my bag. I was so angry that I just left. Remember how the sausage egg mcmuffins were on special for $1.00? Well, mine wasn't. I thought the special had gone off only to learn later(after calling to ask) it was still $1.00. Is this not incompetence....or is it just stupidity?

McDonald's has been our traveling friend for many years now. We seem to be traveling more these days and spending less time at home. McDonald's is of course everywhere that we are. As we were traveling from DC to Florida, we passed through a little town named Elkin. We stopped to get gas and made our way down the road to the local McDonald's. This was our first time ever being in Elkin, NC and we almost turned around because we didn't see the restaurant. We passed through two stop lights and seen the sign, so keep going its not right off the exit. You could tell this was a new store, very beautiful McDonald's, probably the nicest I have seen and much different than what I thought it would be. The dinning room was very nice, we had wifi internet (did have to pay though) and the employees were so kind and treated us very well. When being on the road for several hours, its nice to sit down in a clean and updated enviroment and eat a little dinner. This one has the cafe, so I got to indulge in my coffee addiction. Overall, very nice restaurant, good people, and good food. If your traveling and pass this little town, stop by this McDonald's as we will be returing everytime we pass while traveling.
