ITW Reddi Pac, located in Elkhart, Ind., manufactures pre-formed, paperboard crates and U-Board for the logistics and shipping industries. Its crates are designed as an alternative to wood crates, tubes and corrugated boxes. U-Board is comprised of individual pieces of pre-formed u-channel used to 'frame' product into a compact load and provides edge protection and unitization. Reddi Pac was formerly located in South Bend, Ind. It moved its manufacturing plant to Elkhart in 2004. The company is a member of Illinois Tool Works, a Fortune 200 manufacturing company that designs and produces an array of highly engineered fasteners and components, equipment and consumable systems and specialty products and equipment for customers throughout the world.
