North Side Middle School is a learning center that provides academic instruction to more than 650 students in grades seven and eight. It offers an academic program that focuses on the development of reading, writing and math skills. The school additionally provides classes in social studies, art, Spanish, physical education, computer applications, English and science. The school operates a library and media center that offers a variety of books and magazines for its students. North Side Middle School is governed by the Elkhart Community School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools that offer education to students in kindergarten through grade 12.
