      Established in 1893, Family & Children's Services is a private, nonsectarian organization that provides mental health, child welfare and family services to people of all ages. It also offers in-home family therapy, child abuse prevention and family stabilization services. Family & Children's Services provides case management, crisis counseling and mental health status assessment services. It offers a child and family permanency program that includes plan assessment, post-placement visiting and counseling services for biological, foster and adoptive parents. Additionally, Family & Children's Services provides psychological testing, health educational, and psychosocial and psychiatric evaluation services. It also offers abuse, neglect and delinquency prevention programs that focus on the development and promotion of self-esteem for children, youths and adults.
