      Dr. Samantha Furia is board-certified in emergency medicine. She practices as a primary care provider with Chesapeake Regional Healthcare. Dr. Furia completed her residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Prior to joining Chesapeake Regional Healthcare, she served as the emergency medicine physician at EmCare Inc. and as the EMS medical advisor and instructor at College of the Albermale in Elizabeth City, N.C. Dr. Furia is ACLS certified and is also a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
