Dr. Faber is a kind and patient doctor. The types of illness that a gastroenterologist treats is, in itself, an embarrassment for the patient. One must discuss very personal health matters with the staff. Dr. Faber makes it as comfortable as is humanly possible for the patient. I've been treated by this office for over 16 years. This doctor was, and is, up to date on both the new and time proven, procedures and treatments. He was 'ahead of the times' on probiotics. In 1998 probiotics were considered, by the medical world, as being a holistic type of medicine. Now, Dr. Faber has been proven right about the benefits of probiotics, by the medical world. Because he isn't afraid to use new ideas, he was criticized. Later he was applauded by his peers. He is a good, professional, and humane doctor.
