Larkin High School, located in Elgin, Ill., is a part of Illinois School District U-46. The school serves more than 2,400 students in grades 9 through 12. It conducts classes in various subjects that include math, science, social studies, language arts, and technical and physical education. It offers French, German and Spanish as foreign languages. Larkin High School operates ski, chess and fashion clubs. The school also offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as art, music, drama and gymnastics. In addition, it offers vocational courses in industrial technology and business and health education. It provides a range of sports activities that includes football, golf, soccer, basketball and tennis. The school also organizes various educational and cultural events, including holiday parties, family nights and musical shows. Larkin High School provides special education services to gifted and talented students.
