Elgin Community College is a semifinalist for the 2023 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, joining an elite group of community colleges recognized for achieving high, improving, and equitable student outcomes. Scholarships, professional guidance, and academic support are available.We offer 130 degree and certificate programs designed by supportive faculty that understand the skills needed for today's job market. We welcome veterans home to a great college experience. ECC offers high school diploma and ESL classes and programs in Advertising and Marketing, Business and Finance, Management, Construction, Environmental Services, Fire and Paramedic, Culinary, Health Professions, IT, HVAC, CDL, MRI, Cybersecurity, Manufacturing Production, Truck Driving, Basic Nursing, and university transfer programs. Our arts programming and Performing Arts Center feature live productions and are treasured by our community.
