El Monte High School is a college preparatory school that provides educational and enrichment programs to students in grades 9 through 12. The school has a career center that offers services, such as career interest assessments, career and educational planning, local scholarships, portfolio development and apprenticeships. It includes various subjects in its curriculum, such as English, math, science, social studies, foreign languages, business, health, and physical and special education. The school organizes a range of athletic activities that include baseball, basketball, cross country, soccer, swimming, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field. El Monte High School is operated by the El Monte Union School District and is located in El Monte, Calif.
