Established and governed by the rules set forth in Oklahoma Title 19 State Statutes in 1996, Deer Creek Fire Department is a Rural Fire Protection District. Based in Edmond, Okla., the company currently operates with station/administrative offices, structural pumpers, pumpers/tankers, brush pumpers, light rescue/quick attack and staff/command vehicles. The staff consists of both part-time paid and paid-on-call personnel. The operations division of Deer Creek Fire Department has three main operational units, such as fire suppression, rescue and emergency medical services.
