The Academy at Edison offers academic programs in the areas of engineering, mathematics, science, language arts and communications, social sciences, health and physical education and world languages. The academy also provides career programs related to civil, electrical, mechanical and computer technology. It also administers chess, interact and dram clubs. It maintains a media center, as well s a library that provides books, magazines, reference materials, and online search engines and databases. The Academy at Edison is a part of Middlesex County Vocational Technical Schools, which serves more than 8500 residents from the 25 municipalities in Middlesex County, N.J. the district has been serving the educational needs of students since 1914 and additionally operates various elementary, middle and high schools.
