General Info

Dr. Michael Hart received his DDS from Columbia University. To further his education, he completed an intensive residency at a Federal Hospital in New York City, where he received training in the removal of wisdom teeth, as well as for treatment of the handicapped. Dr. Hart recently completed an extensive course in implant placement and restoration. Dr. Mark Messer is a leading dentist in Edison, NJ who has achieved the coveted Mastership (M.A.G.D.) in the Academy of General Dentistry. He also received the Lifelong Learning and Services Recognition award, an honor bestowed on less than one percent of all dentists. Dr. Brad Strober graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He continued his studies in the residency program at the Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Strober just had an article published in the Journal of The American Dental Association (May 2013), based on his work and research. He also is director of a dental study club in Pennsylvania. Dr. Cynthia Butkofski graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1996. She has been a dentist in Edison, NJ for more than 15 years, since completing a dental residency program at JFK Medical Center in Edison. All of our doctors combine their leading expertise with gentle, one-on-one care and a commitment to patient satisfaction. We provide complete family dental care Including Orthodontics. Children of all ages are also welcome. Below is a list of services we provide and some further detailed explanations: - Cleaning - Filings - Sweet Air (Nitrous Oxide) - Clear Braces - Bleaching - Bonding - Veneers - Crowns - Wisdom-Teeth - Periodontal - TMJ Therapy - Root Canal - Dentures - Lab on Premises - Quick Repairs - Implants Prosthetics - Children - Seniors - Disabled - Elevator Emergencies: We try to see you as soon as possible if you are having a problem, usually the same day. When you are in pain, you do not want to “wait until next Tuesday”. Since we have three dentists, we are able to rotate our vacations and holidays off, so someone is always available to serve you. One dentist offices need to shut down when the dentist is away. Availability and immediate service are important to you. Denture Repairs: The lab downstairs is open every weekday, and closed on Saturdays. Most repairs can be done while you wait, in less than an hour. Bring the broken part with you. Invisalign Clear Braces: You can have your teeth straightened without anyone knowing! These products are a clear plastic brace which can be removed to clean. Come in for a free consultation to see if you are a candidate. Implants: Implants have made tremendous strides over the past decades, and are now considered the standard of care in dentistry. Replace your missing teeth with permanent teeth. Root Canals: Most root canals are done in one visit, which is more convenient for you. We usually do them on your first emergency visit. Extractions: Extractions are done in our office at the same visit. We also can do wisdom teeth, multiple extractions, or extractions combined with making dentures and denture repairs. TMJ Pain: Dr. Strober has several years of additional training in Temporo Mandibular Joint Dysfunction Syndrome, and would be happy to see you immediately. Philosophy: It would be better to avoid toothaches, pain and infections, so our philosophy is as follows. We try to see you immediately to get you out of pain. After we solve your problem, we would like to have you return for a complete examination. Then we can rank the order of the treatment you should have done, the worst cavities first, etc. We can go step by step in restoring your mouth to health. It is cheaper and less painful to have a filling done, than to having a root canal. It is easier to have several cleanings as opposed to having gum surgery, to treat periodontal disease. It is easier and less expensive to maintain your long term dental health than to treat dental disease.
