Dr. Abbas has done clinical externships at the Witlin Center for Advanced Eye Care and the Lyons Campus of the VA New Jersey Health Care System. She also received training as a civilian from the Naval Air Station in Florida, where she had to co-manage the ocular health of pilots and crew to ensure that they met the requirements to operate aircraft established by the U.S. Navy. Dr. Abbas is well known for patient education and providing patients with a thorough and detailed evaluation of the patient’s condition.
