Think twice. I went in for simple repairs on three lamps. After quoting a price, she nickel and dimed me for "other" necessary repairs. As a matter of fact, even after I (over)paid the invoice and left the store, she was still adding extra charges that I would have to pay when I picked my lamps up. She also prepared an invoice that was incorrect, and didn't have the right name or address on it. There is a HUGE trust issue here for me. Never again.

I have been purchasing lamps from Designer Lighting and Fan in Edison for several years and have always been pleased with the courteous service and quality merchandise. Recently, I had a problem with one of my very favorite lamps that I had purchased from this lighting center. The problem was my fault. I had inadvertently twisted the wires when I installed a new bulb in the lower globe. I thought the wires would have to be cut and that the entire lamp would have to be rewired. Much to my surprise, I took the bottom globe back to Designer Lighting and Fan, and Jim, the amazing repairman, was able to fix the problem in a matter of seconds. The lamp is now working perfectly and I couldn't be happier. If you are in the market for new lamps or lighting fixtures, I highly recommend Designer Lighting and Fan. They have a wide selection of merchandise, and if there is ever a problem, the repairs are done right on the premises.

Just bought a new chandelier, had some really great customer service. They also helped arrange the installation. Overall, I am really pleased by what I saw and experienced.

I strongly suggest that nobody buys from this store. They make sure that they are paid in full at the time of purchase and will not return your money even after they cannot meet their agreed terms. I have never been more harshly treated as a customer.
