Established in 1941, Wabanna Camp and Conference Center is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian ministry located in Edgewater, Md., on a 23-acre area near the Chesapeake Bay. The firm offers facilities, such as chapel, sitting room, lobby, sun garden room, meeting rooms, recreational hall, gymnasium, food and beverage facility. Wabanna Camp and Conference Center operates an eight-week summer camp for boys and girls. In addition to daily Bible studies, it offers a wide variety of team building activities and events, such as indoor and outdoor climbing walls, low- and high-element challenge courses, boating, tubing, sailing, canoeing and kayaking.
