Operating for more than 30 years, Central Elementary School provides enrollment to more than 600 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school has a parent-teacher association that raises funds for several projects, conducts monthly meetings and plans family activities. The association sponsors book and fun fairs. Central Elementary School encourages its students to participate in various community projects. The elementary school is a part of Anne Arundel County Public Schools, which also includes Arnold Elementary School, Belle Grove Elementary School and South River High School. Central Elementary School is based in Edgewater, Md.
