Suburban Emergency Medical Services is a nonprofit organization that serves the residents of Northampton and Monroe counties in Pennsylvania. It offers advanced prehospital emergency care and nonemergency transportation services. The organization maintains a wheelchair-accessible van that transports patients to and from their residences, nursing home facilities, clinics and hospitals. The organization provides local and long-distance ambulance transport services for bedridden patients. Suburban Emergency Medical Services additionally organizes station tours for local groups, as well as conducts first aid and safety classes and demonstrations for schoolchildren.
