General Info

I am a strong patient advocate and make recommendations to patients about their care as if they are my family. Educating my patients about their conditions and ailments is my priority. Each patient deserves to know about his or her medical condition and treatment choices. I am a board-certified gastroenterologist and take care of patients with gastrointestinal, pancreatic and liver disorders. I have special interest in gastrointestinal cancers, gastroesophageal reflux disease, also known as GERD, and colonic disorders including inflammatory bowel disease. I did my internal medicine internship and residency training at University Hospital in New Jersey and Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn NY. I completed my gastroenterology fellowship at Columbia University at Harlem Hospital in NY. I started my gastroenterology practice in 1989 and established Twin Rivers Gastroenterology Center and then Twin Rivers Endoscopy Center in 1990. I have brought new technologies such as advanced ERCP and EUS, also known as endoscopic ultrasound, to the Lehigh Valley. I continue to pursue advanced technologies in gastroenterology and find St. Luke’s University Health Network an ideal place to do so. My hobbies include travelling, fishing and watching NFL football games. I love the beach and spending time with family and grandchildren.
