Founded in 1946, Celeste Industries Corporation supplies comfort and amenity products, lavatory chemicals, interior and exterior cleaners, personal care items, contract and specialty packaging and protective packaging products. In 1969, operations were moved from Wilton, Conn., to Easton, Md., where the current facilities occupy 130,000 square feet on a 25-acre site. Brockway Moran & Partners acquired the company in June 1999. Its comfort and amenity products consist of pillows, pillowcases, blankets, headrest covers, hot towels, linens and refresher towels. The company also provides hard surface/multi-purpose cleaners, enzymatic cleaners, adhesives, gum remover, carpet shampoo and exterior wash. Celeste supplies to the commercial airline industry as well as major carriers throughout the world. In 2003 Celeste was awarded ISO 9001:2000 registration and has established a quality policy.
