EFT "Emotional Freedom Techniques" is based on the principals of acupuncture "without the needles" that uses the ancient Chinese meridian system to relieve stress and pain. EFT is safe, easy to apply, and non-invasive. EFT belongs to a new class of treatments referred to by some as Energy Psychology. When properly applied, EFT balances the energy system with a tapping procedure by stimulating designated acupuncture or acupressure points on the face and body. This process has the ability to restore balance to the energy system - neutralizing emotional conflicts at their source, allowing the body and mind to resume their natural healing abilities.
