Founded in 1949, the Hewlett-East Rockaway Jewish Centre is a conservative congregation that provides a range of educational and religion-based programs for individuals of all ages. It offers Judaism-based learning programs for Jewish citizens throughout the United States. The center provides various children, youth and adult congregation services. It supports Men s Club, Youth Group and Sisterhood committees. The center offers morning and evening prayer services, as well as organizes several recreational activities, including Megilla reading and costume parade. It operates the Hewlett-East Rockaway Jewish Centre Nursery School, which serves more than 175 children up to the age of five. The Hewlett-East Rockaway Jewish Centre also provides catering and membership services.
