Founded in 1975, Enercon Engineering Inc. is one of the world's leading companies in the power generation industry. Based in East Peoria, Ill., the company offers a wide array of services that include custom designing and manufacturing power generation products, as well as special applications to meet the clients' project needs and specifications. Some of its products include switchgear, generator controls, packages and enclosure, cogeneration packages, fast break circuit breakers and SCADA systems. The company received Governor's Export Award from Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity in 2002.
