John L. Costley Middle School is an educational institution that enrolls children in grades six through eight. It is located in East Orange, N.J., and conducts classes in various subjects, such as English, mathematics, social studies, geography, history and economics. The school offers the language arts program that improves the reading, writing, listening, viewing and speaking skills of students. Its extracurricular activities include folk tales, dance, music, museum exhibits, field trips, drama, computer learning, and arts and crafts. John L. Costley Middle School also celebrates the Law, National History and United Nations Days. The school is a part of the East Orange School District, which operates several early childhood, elementary, secondary and high school campuses.
