Terrible place. Don't go for this! 1.Managers are rude. 2. Walls are so thin that you could even easily hear the guy next door washing his hands. 3. They will charge you some rediculous fees. My roommate unintentionally lost his receipt from Western Union (maybe dropped when he left his car). They found it somewhere and charged him $50 for "throw trash on the ground". 4. Did not mention there's a railroad just beside unit 6*** (about 20 meters away?). They even hide the railroad on the map in their office. We want to choose a quiet place, so we picked unit 6. But that frequently passed train was like a nightmare. Some of the trains even whistle when they pass through. And about 7-12 trains per day, 24 hrs each day for 7 days per week. Seriously, it's not funny at all. 5. The aircondition, cloth-washing machine and dish-washing machine are terrible. They work like crazy with extremely huge sound, especially the A/C. You have to try the sound of A/C before you sigh the lease.

I am so happy to see your review and would like to expand on your comments. This place is under new management who is basically out of touch with their residents. We singed a lease with them, but different people last year and everything that we was promised has not been delivered yet. This place is mismanaged and they don't have a stuff in place who can handle their daily responsibilities. This complex is like "show off" on the outside only. The A/C units don't work, the wireless don't work, only certain pet breeds allowed, based on no research but they say: 'We are animal lovers" - really? If you want to live your life at MSU free of worries - DO NOT LIVE at Lodges of Lansing, please. The apartments are overpriced and you get nothing in return, you feel like they always spy on you. There are plenty of beautiful places to live in East Lansing and people take care of you like you are their family. Sorry Lodges - you score very low.

its fancy but thats pretty much it. Management treats us like children with a "deal with it" attitude, they fine you for the stupidest s*** ever. they claim to be pet friendly but they make u pay a 300 fee then add 25 dollars to your rent every month. ridiculous. its also waaaay too over priced. and you do not get your moneys worth. the apartments look good from the inside but they control EVERYTHING. there are rules to what you can put on ur balcony, they come and "inspect" your apartment, they make u pay more than needed for the damages. they can pretty much come to your apartment whenever they want. the washer and dryer are LOUD. and things around the apartment are very breakable. Do not live here.
