Pinecrest Elementary School serves the educational needs of more than 300 students and offers classes from grades kindergarten through four. The school offers instructions in science, language arts, English, mathematics, health education, computer science, social studies, arts and crafts, vocal and instrumental music, and physical education. The school focuses on enhancing the reading, writing and language skills of students. It also organizes various extracurricular activities, such as Halloween, book fair and family fun nights. The school s library and media center has a large collection of books and other audiovisual reference materials. Located in East Lansing, Mich., the school operates under the guidelines set by the East Lansing Public School District.
