- Dental SealantsBasic dentistry such as resin BPA-free single surface restorations when a limited amount of the tooth has to be repaired or BPA-free resin sealants.
- VeneersProcedures that enhance the aesthetic appeal of your smile are considered cosmetic, such as porcelain laminate veneers. All dental procedures are done with aesthetics in mind as well as the health of the oral cavity.
- CrownsA dental implant is a titanium screw which replaces a natural tooth. The surgeon inserts an implant into the jawbone, and it acts as an anchor for an artificial tooth, called a crown. A device called an abutment connects the artificial tooth to the dental implant. The crown is custom-made to fit the person’s mouth and match the color of their teeth. Crowns look, feel, and function like natural teeth.
- Bridges
- Restorative DentistryMore advanced dental restorative procedures such as ceramic onlays and ceramic inlays are done when the tooth to be restored has substantial loss of structure due to decay or fracture. Bridges are recommended to replace a missing tooth and can involve two or more teeth in the arch to be restored.
- Root Canal TreatmentA root canal is a procedure done to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or has become infected. During a root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. Without treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscesses may form and lead to loss of the tooth.
- Deep CleaningInvolves the supporting structures of the teeth, such as the gingivae (gums) and bone. One of the procedures is scaling and root planning of the teeth and a more advanced procedure is pocket reduction flap surgery.
