Gillette Castle is an excellent place to visit with a family. And, that is exactly how I learned about the Castle. I was about twelve years old, and now I am sixty-five. I have been visiting the Castle for years. I took my boyfriend there and told him how much I loved the Castle and the history related and years later as a married couple he bought me an English Tudor home, that looks a lot like Gillette Castle, minus the stone.

I am now taking my grandchildren. Although I love to visit almost annually, I do not like the renovations. My love is the original grounds. So guess what, going again this weekend. Carol
