Dr. Hawkins earned his MD from Wake Forest School of Medicine and completed his dermatology residency at the University of Michigan. Areas of focus include hair loss, skin cancer treatment, and cosmetic dermatology, including BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport®, dermal fillers, and platelet rich plasma treatments. He has extensive training in laser medicine for treatment of vascular and pigmented lesions as well as for skin rejuvenation and scar treatment. He also performs superficial medical chemical peels, as well as deeper peels for acne scarring. Dr. Hawkins is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and is a former Sulzberger Institute Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He loves hiking, skiing, and scuba diving.
