General Info

I am originally from Catonsville, MD. I moved to the Lehigh Valley in 1980 where I met and married my wife in 1982. Together we raised 3 children. The most recent addition to our family was my grandson who I had the honor of delivering. I received my first Bachelor of Science degree from St. Mary's College of Maryland where I majored in Biology. Several years later I attended the University of Alabama Birmingham and received a second Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Allied Health Professionals. I attended Medical School at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed my Internship formal Residency Training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the St. Luke's University Health Network, Allentown Campus. I am board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and have been in practice in the Allentown area for the last twenty years. I was the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sacred Heart Hospital for five years and also served as the Medical Director of the OB/GYN Clinic while there. Currently, I am actively involved with the teaching and surgical training of our OB/GYN residents at St Luke's Hospital, as well as the many Medical Students, Physician Assistants and Nursing Students rotating through our hospital. I thoroughly enjoy being an Obstetrician and Gynecologist, helping and caring for my patients through difficult pregnancies or complex surgical conditions. My special interests include, but not limited to, Routine and High Risk Pregnancies, Advanced Minimally Invasive Laparoscopic Surgery, treatment of Chronic Pelvic Pain, Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding, Endometriosis and Uterine Fibroids. Of couse, Family Planning, Contraceptive Management options as well as the treatment and management of symptoms caused by Menopause and Perimenopause are a large part of our practice, as well. I maintain a very busy schedule between my medical practice and my family life which is very important to me. On my free time, my family and I enjoy time at the shore, boating, gardening and golfing.
