Howard L. Goff Middle School, located in East Greenbush, N.Y., is a public school that provides academic education to students in grades six through eight. The school enrolls more than 1,000 students and is a part of the East Greenbush Central School District. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, art, science, social studies and foreign languages with a choice in French, German and Spanish. Additionally, the school provides courses in business and health education, art, family and consumer science, and physical, special and technology education. Howard L. Goff Middle School has a library that provides curriculum books, online databases, literary sources, periodicals and Internet search tools. It also organizes various extracurricular activities, such as dance, drama, jazz band, science Olympiad and field trips. The middle school additionally has a parent-teacher organization and provides various sports activities, such as basketball, golf, lacrosse, softball, cross country, football and wrestling.
