Charlie's Italian Restaurant has been serving Ellijay and North Georgia for over 20 years. Family owned and operated. Over recipes are from 5 generations of Italian cooks. All our dishes are homemade using only the freshest products. Our sauce is slow cooked for 8 hours everyday. We want to introduce our guests to true Italian marinara. Great food, good service. We were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Clean, fair prices.
Very good food I live in Blue Ridge not Ellijay and would go a lot more often if it was closer. Still it is not that far...good enough food and great variety for us to make special trips to go have a great fine dining experience every now and then. Of course the big red chair is always a kids favorite. No matter where you go sometimes your waiters waitresses will not be in the best of mood. They are human just like we are. Unless they are just way out of line I can put up with a bad day from anyone when the food is outstanding.

Great food and beautiful place to dine. But the waitress was in a mood again last week. If she would only smile and talk to her customers she would come across much better. Also check on their drink once and awhile.....
Wow! What a shock to see that review. My whole family (16) has eaten there since they opened, and we have never had a bad meal or bad service. The owner's, Charlie and Collette are the most courteous people, and anxious for everyone to have a wonderful dining experience. I suggest you try again!
