Conestoga Wood Specialties, located in East Earl, Pa., is a supplier of wood doors and components. Founded in 1964, the company offers a range of custom wood components, including custom doors, drawer fronts, beaded front frames, dovetail drawer boxes, mouldings, cabinet systems, primed and painted wood products, a variety of radius products, special designs components, rigid thermal foil and medium density fiberboard products. Conestoga operates as two distinct business units. Its OEM/Contract Division focuses on high volume customers and produces thousands of doors in a single order. Its Custom Division services the custom kitchen and bath industry, producing single set kitchens for just-in-time cabinet manufacturers and routinely produces orders as small as a single piece. It operates seven plants located in Arkansas, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Conestoga also manages its own rough mills to help ensure standards throughout production.
