1 star is too high but the minimum.On 3/18/18 I entered Carpets and More on Rt. 18 in E. Brunswick and was approached by a sales man named Al. I explained to him specifically that I wanted to price hardwood floors or tiles that resembled hardwood floors. Almost immediately he proceeded to tell me what I should do. Al took me to the vinyl flooring section and told me this is what everyone is doing now. I explained to him that I was not interested in that product, but wanted a dark gloss hardwood finish or a tile that appeared like wood. He then told me. No one sells gloss hardwood floors anymore. This is just not true.As I began picking out products and laying them next to each other for comparison he took them back from me and put them away. In more than one instance he took the product from my hand. When I told him my project was about two months out he told me, call me when youre ready and I will come measure the house up. I cant order you flooring from your plans. When I began to question him as to why and if he could give me a written price quote he said, I would be out of my mind to do that. You can see the prices on the display, figure it out.Al was the most aggravating, self-centered, arrogant, complacent individual Ive encountered in the past 6 weeks shopping for my renovation. I would NEVER recommend this store to anyone while this individual works there.Kevin Consiglio
