Established in 1953, Damans Industrial Services Inc. is one of the largest machine shops in the Greater Tri-State area specializing in mechanical equipment repair and new equipment sales. The company concentrates in the repair and rebuilding of pumps, compressors, fans, bearing chocks, shafts, vacuum pumps and individual components. It has over 35 skilled machinists, mechanics welders, engineers and fabricators. The company sells a number of products, such as peerless pumps, tanks and mixtures, including others. Its customers include power plants, steel mills, pulp and paper mills, refineries, chemical companies, water and waste-water treatment plants, engineers, various commercial accounts and original equipment manufacturers.
