Love this practice for its professionalism, compassion, and accommodation of pet owners. However, the overall cost for services seems to be very high. The price of an office visit is not bad, but every time we have taken our cats to the Aurora Pet Hospital there have been numerous itemized charges added in (some for procedures automatically done without our authorization) that have inflated the final bill quickly. We love our vet, but triple-figure bills for every visit are not realistic for a family on a tight budget. Sadly, we are going to need to find another veterinary practice.. Bottom line: this is a great practice for high income pet lovers.

I have been taking my pets to Aurora Pet Hospital for years and are very very satisfied with the care and compassion they have received. There are on the ball when it comes to contacting and following up after a visit or problem with your animal. I have had the pleasure to dealing with Dr. Keem, Dr. Meisner and also their new Vet Dr. Fitcher (sp?). I travel back and forth from Cheektowaga to take my animals there for care and I can honestly say I don't mind going the extra mile for the good care they receive. Their office staff is friendly and efficient and I am grateful for their help also.

Dr. Mike Keem is that rare blend of brilliance and compassion. We are blessed to have him as our vet. It is very stressful to have a sick pet but at the same time comforting to know that their lives are in such caring and capable hands. The staff, especially Tricia and Mary and Caitlyn and Amanda just reinforce the feeling that everyone is working toward helping your beloved animal. I also love the fact that Dr. Keem educates his clients regarding the particular disease process with which they are dealing as this makes you feel that you are part of the team working toward helping your furry family member. The vets in this hospital are amazing however the staff turnover is somewhat alarming...it seems there are fewer and fewer recognizable faces....you learn to develop trust in the techs and suddenly...they're gone...even the rare long timers...

A one week old kitten found in a construction parking lot was given to us to care for..so small..so cute but eyes not open yet. Little Scooter was not doing well after 9 days so I called Aurora Pet Hospital per recommendation of a close friend. Scooter was seen the same day. The staff greeted us, helped me fill out the paperwork and immediately ushered us to a room. After meeting Dr. Meisner, she examined Scooter and we discussed our options since he only weighed 8 ozs. plus I didn't know his background. She let me make a phone call, came back to discuss more and we made a decision together, using the wait and see approach. After thanking her and the staff, I took Scooter home. We continued to care for him, watching closely. The next day Dr. Meisner called to see how he was doing. Wow that had never happened before! How wonderful! Scooter is doing much better. We will be returning for another visit as will our Boxer, Lexi. Thank you for your kindness, caring & help..just awesome!

When taking your pets to this Vet clinic, you need to be aware that number one they will quote you a price and then up it by at least $20. Also if you are someone whom orders your pets scripts from accredited online sites like myself such as flea and heart worm medications...SUPRISE they wont write you a script, you are forced to pay double for their own medications. I highly suggest other alternatives in the area such as the boston animal hospital in Orchard Park or the Orchard Park Veterinary Office. My family has treated with them in the past, and while I was trying to stay closer to home it looks like I will have to take my pets else where. Please when considering this office understand that while the vets are friendly (they have to be..it is their job) they mis-quote way too often, in my particular case three seperate times. I would suggest looking elsewhere

Wow, what a great veterinary hospital. My dog gets so excited when we pull in the parking lot. The staff go out of their way to make my dog and me feel welcome. I'll never change vets again.

Great hospital. The doctors and staff really care about the animals and the place is super clean!
