      Founded in 1958, Palmetto Health Baptist Easley is a provider of health care services. The hospital is a more than 100 bed general acute care facility. It offers surgery, lithotripsy, CT scan, outpatient care and emergency support services. Palmetto Health Baptist Easley has a staff of over 650 employees and nearly 190 nurses. Its areas of specialization include surgery, imaging, obstetrics, orthopedics and diagnostics. The hospital s outpatient services facility is spread over an area of more than 35,000 square feet. Palmetto Health Baptist Easley s diagnostic and cardiac catheterization laboratory occupies an area of nearly 3,500 square feet. It has received the Premier Orthopedic Award for hip and knee replacement services. The hospital is a part of Palmetto Health, which is one of the largest, locally owned and nonprofit health care resource companies in South Carolina. The parent company offers treatment for more than 80,000 pediatric patients.
