FOCUS is a community-based, nonprofit agency serving families in Anchorage and Palmer in Alaska and Eagle River in Wisconsin. The agency provides family-centered early intervention and infant learning and developmental disabilities services for infants and toddlers from birth to 3 years of age. It also provides short-term assistance and referral, respite care, and core and waiver services, including care coordination, habilitation and intensive active treatment for individuals who experience a developmental disability and their families. FOCUS has been offering services in the community since 1978. FOCUS is located in Chugiak, Ala., and has served more than 300 consumers and families with over 84 employees.
