We recently discovered this virtual gem in the RV park world, and at the risk of other people finding out how wonderful it is and it being full the next time we want to go there,, I must write a glowing review!!



First off,, if you ever find a review that says anything negative about this place: IGNORE IT!!



We (and I mean a lot of “we”, like four families worth!) were looking for a spot to camp that was close to the Southern Oregon Speedway. Yes, as in race track.. Which should tip you off to the fact that we are a FUN group of folks.. We needed a place that could accommodate trailer camping (full hookups, of course) as well as cabin camping. It needed to be kid friendly. Pet friendly. Extra people showing up friendly. From just the website and the phone calls we made,, we found our spot in the Medford Oaks RV Park. Of course, we had lots of questions, all of which Brenda answered promptly and efficiently. We ended up with two RV sites and two camping cabins, all basically right next to each other. We had kids from 2 to almost 60. All of us fished (fabulous catch & release pond!), swam, walked around, relaxed & just had a blast.



A few things to note: This park is obviously very meticulously well maintained. There were no unsavory characters or run down rigs at all, which is often times rare at RV parks that accommodate long term campers. There were some restrictions as to what pets you could bring in, as in no pitbulls or rottweilers, but my German Shepherd was happily accepted. All of the pets that we encountered in the park were very well behaved, and although there wasn’t a designated “pet area” that I saw, there were no doggie “gifts” left around the park at all,, people picked up after their animals! The pool was clean and well maintained. I saw other reviews that noted that it was not kept up and that the water temp was too cold.. We personally watched the pool be swept out every morning, no issues for us there. As far as the temperature goes, yes, the water was cool, but the good ole “once you get in it’s fine!” totally applied for all of us! For goodness sake,, when it’s 95 degrees out, who wants a pool that feels like bathwater??



The other thing that was nice was the ability for guests to come in and enjoy the facilities. We have family that lives in the area and for a mere $4 a person, they got to utilize the pool and pond, and where else can you go spend a whole day with that kind of fun for only a few dollars per person?



I guess the only way to really sum up this review is… WE WILL BE BACK!

Long term spots have no sewer hook up, little shade, lots of black widdow spiders, power surges and fails regularly, owner kept deposit and overcharged by double the power bill amount,filled with old and nasty trailers in long term parking, internet is horrible.
