Located a short drive from Greer, Show-low, Alpine, Pinetop-Lakeside, St. Johns and Snowflake-Taylor, the R Lazy J Wildlife Ranch is a 65-acre wildlife conservation breeding ranch. R Lazy J focuses on breeding and exhibiting wildlife while educating the public about rare and endangered animals from all over the world. Hands-on experiences will include feeding, educational & up-close encounters with roaming camels, water buffalo, capybara, tortoises and other animals. For a nominal fee, guests can feed the parakeets in our walk-in aviary. There are also exclusive opportunities for lemur and sloth encounters for additional fees. Viewing of primates, small carnivores, reptiles and aviaries with exotic birds is part of all tours. The R Lazy J Wildlife Ranch accommodates groups of all sizes and people of all ages.
