Fayetteville Street Elementary School is one of several educational facilities that make up Durham Public Schools. The elementary school is a coeducational institution that provides academic classes and extracurricular activities to more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s library provides access to resources for students and staff members. The library offers a variety of print and electronic resource materials to assist in the learning process. Fayetteville Street Elementary School offers educational classes in a variety of subjects, such as math, science, social studies, reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, art, and health and physical education. The school is supported by IBM, the Durham Police Department and Southside Church. It is based in Durham, N.C.
