General Info

Born in New Jersey, raised in South Florida, and now proud to be a North Carolinian since 2009, I am excited to offer comprehensive pain management services at Pain and Wellness Solutions of the Carolinas (PWSC) in Durham. We love living in the Triangle and taking care of patients from every part of the state and from all kinds of backgrounds. I find a special sense of purpose as I connect with fellow veterans in the area as well, having proudly served in the United States Air Force as a flight surgeon both domestically and overseas. My unique combination of a background in medicine, engineering, business, leadership, and administration makes me happy and comfortable treating patients from all walks of life with sub acute and chronic pain. I am a board certified anesthesiologist with additional fellowship and accreditation in pain management. I completed my residency at Emory University in Atlanta and my fellowship at Rush University in Chicago. Previously, I was the pain medicine fellowship director and Medical Director of the UNC Pain Management Center. I am a graduate of MIT and received my medical degree from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
