I have never, EVER had a bad experience with Camera Works - I have been there numerous times. Sebastian is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. While he is not all smiles all the time (that's just how he is), he certainly never treats people like they are "beneath" him. He knows what he is doing, gets it done, and gets it done at a good price. Quality service and I will always use him. He has been in business for decades for a reason. I am a professional photographer, and I love Camera Works. Never had an issue.

I agree with the other reviewer. They are often rude and unhelpful in an elitist way. They make you feel like you are wasting their time, which makes me not want to buy from them. Plus, their hours are not that convenient.

Aside from being rude and treating me like an annoyance, Camera Works took 6 weeks to decide that they couldn't do the repair in-house. When I got it back, it was totally ruined--wouldn't even turn on. I won't be going back and would definitely advise against bringing your camera there, at least if it's a digital camera. Maybe they're good with film cameras, but they aren't very friendly either.
