We had the wedding night from hell in this place. The owners insisted we pick up keys on the wedding day even though we weren't "arriving" until late in the evening. Then they gave us the wrong keys. Then left us a note in the room (door left open) implying it was our fault for "rushing" them. The room was poorly designed so if you used the in room whirlpool tub you get a bedroom sauna because of a lack of ventilation. The bed was ridiculously high so it needed steps to enter or exit (imagine middle of the night bathroom trip). The bathroom was down a couple of steps in what was probably an old closet at one point. Again, a serious safety issue for a darkened room. The power went off at about midnight (for the whole area not just the B&B) but there was no emergency lighting for the room. We left exhausted at 6am and skipped the breakfast. This contrasts to our trip to Barbados a few days later to a fabulous boutique hotel (10 rooms, Little Arches hotel) where everything was fabulous.
