I went to Happy Tails today to get our two Yorkie's groomed. We did not even make in the door before we experienced the type of customer service available. There is an outdoor training area that is fenced off near the parking area; a collie met me eagerly at the fence. I put my hand on the fence which may not have been a good idea and the worker immediately told me to remove my hand. The manner in which I was told is the issue, a simple please don't would have been more than sufficient. Instead, I was told to 'Just go away'. Not once but twice, in a demeaning manner. I said okay and had already removed my hand and was told to 'Just go inside'. I replied okay and I will ask for the manager, she replied 'I am the manager, just go' so I did. I went to another groomer, it was a simple mistake that would have been easy to politely correct. I sure hope she treats the animals better than the customer because the only that that bit was the manager.

Of all the grooming establishments we have used over the years (Massachusetts and Pennsylvania), this has to be the BEST!! We have our dogs (a Golden Retriever who is 12 years old and a Golden Lab who is 10 years old) groomed approximately 3-4 times a year. Because the Golden Lab has short hair, she really doesn't get too bad unless she is shedding - and then, we can pluck her like a chicken! The Golden Retriever has long hair and when he starts to shed, he looks like he is having a bad hair WEEK! The first time we used Happy Tails and went to pick up our two "kids," we didn't recognize them. They looked absolutely MAAAAAAARVELOUS!! The Golden Retriever's paws didn't look like a Clydesdale hooves any more and we could actually see each individual toe on both dogs. My husband and I highly recommend Happy Tails. If you want to be happy and you want your dog(s) to be happy - go to HAPPY TAILS!!
