The Laurens County Sheriff's Office also operates a jail division that is responsible for providing transportation and security services to prisoners. The office s uniform patrol division prevents the occurrence of crimes through visible preventative patrol and assists citizens in dealing with legal, medical, social and humanitarian problems.
