General Info
Established in the 1950's , Mountain Shadows RV Park started out as a midpoint getaway between Salt Lake City and Provo, close enough to launch out to all the area attractions, but far enough from the bustle of the city to relax. Over the last 50 years the growth of the Salt Lake Valley has been exponential, with the culmination coming during the 2002 Winter Olympics. Interstate 15 was only 4 lanes and 1/2 mile away as late as the 80's, it is now 8 lanes and 50 feet from the entrance of the park. Through it all we've done our best to maintain a friendly atmosphere and full accommodations. With a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, showers, laundry services, dog walk, and grassy tent areas, we have done our best to appeal to a wide audience. With a Good Sam rating of 9.5/10, as well as a park that stays full year round, things are going well, although we are aware of always having room to improve, and this year, 2012 we have upgraded our Wi-Fi to handle internet traffic for up to 50 slots at normal bandwidth usage's. We've also addressed some concerns about staff and the treatment of our customers; we are happy to say that we have made changes and trained our staff to be more receptive to our customers. And the reviews we've seen since this change have shown that customers are happier for our focus.Established in the 1950's , Mountain Shadows RV Park started out as a midpoint getaway between Salt Lake City and Provo, close enough to launch out to all the area attractions, but far enough from the bustle of the city to relax.
