If you're reading this, look no further. These guys are great. Locked out of my apartment, I found Downey Locksmith on the internet. After a brief conversation on the phone, they had someone meet me at my place 30 minutes later and it took him about 5 minutes to open my door. Unable to find my keys in my apartment, he replaced the lock and gave me a new set of keys. As other reviewers have pointed out, he's very friendly and honest. I can't recommend him any higher.

How can you not be amazed by a company that already has a solid four stars? 5 stars to me means that there is not one thing they could ahve done better. these guys are good! As many others that have written reviews, I locked myself out of my apartment. Unfortunately I did it on a Sunday morning when no locksmiths were working. The locksmith my building recommended didn't answer my call and I had to leave a message. Then that locksmith called back and wanted $250 to unlock my door. Downey Locksmith answered my call immediately and said they could send some guys over within an hour to unlock my door! They arrived a little behind schedule as they had another job across the city, but they were able to get my door very fast. Amazing, but also scary. Aren't locks designed to keep people out? I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars only because they arrived about 45 min later than the time we scheduled, but overall the service was great. Would recommend them to anyone who's locked out.

It was after business hours, about 10pm and I locked myself out of my apartment. After calling some pretty rude and expensive locksmiths, I called Downey Locksmith. The gentleman, Brian, who answered the phone was courteous and asked how I heard of them. He told me a technician would be @ my place in about 30 minutes. The technician arrived shortly after and opened my door very quickly. The technician, Gary I beleive, was very professional and not too bad, considering the time! Even though it cost me $100, I would definitely recommend Downey Locksmith if you lock yourself out of your apt!
