General Info
Downey Care Center provides 24-hour skilled nursing services to its residents. It offers a wide variety of services, such as behavior management, restorative therapy, and respite, hospice, acute medical, and transitional and health care services. Downey Care Center also provides 24-hour nursing care services to patients recovering from strokes, heart attacks and orthopedic conditions. The rehabilitation services provided by the center include speech, physical and occupational therapies. It organizes a wide range of recreational activities that include physical exercise, arts and crafts, community outings, religious services, and cultural enrichment, holiday and music programs. The center s staff includes dietitians, therapists, and licensed and registered nurses. It is located in Downey, Calif.

after almost 2 week stay there, I wasn't totally impressed..i know its not any easy job, I personally couldn't do it. But it needs better supervision. think people who did have all their facilitys could be treated a little better. Only reason I gave it a 4 star rating was because of 2 employees I seen go beyond their dutys. and were always smiling like it was no problem. They should be commended for it and probably given a little raise. They are Dennis Herrera and Diana Becerra.
