Founded in 1976, New Dawn Retirement Community is a locally owned and operated community. Its facility is spread over an area of more than 13 acres and consists of assisted living apartments, nursing care unit, independent living and child care center. Its assisted living facility offers medication administration, personal care, nutritious meals, housekeeping, laundry, intergenerational programs, library, private family dining and transportation to local medical appointments. The community s child care center offers various programs, including infant, preschool and school age. Its toddler program features action games, art, songs, stories, music, outside play and muscle development. Located in Dover, Ohio, the community s rehabilitation center provides various therapies. It also offers on-site medical director, consulting pharmacist, dietician, dental, podiatry, hospice, X-ray and laboratory services. Additionally, New Dawn Retirement Community offers scholarship programs for employees who want to continue their practice.

I really enjoyed the care here because everyone was friendly and personable. They take the time to get to know you and what you like. I felt very comfortable with everyone here and knew if there was an issue they would help me right away.

New Dawn Retirement Community really helped my family out. They make my mother feel comfortable and she loves being there. We all feel much safer knowing that she's there and not home alone. Everyone is so friendly and great!

My sister decided to go to New Dawn when she realized she couldn't live alone. It was a great decision on her part, the care given here was phenomenal. My sister always felt safe and cared for. My family is so thankful!
