Eureka! As a new arrival to Kent County and a former business owner, my family and I have had to locate new services, e.g., doctors, dentists, tradesmen, ect... never ending task. When my golf cart stopped working, I received strong and confident recommendations to try the lawn mower place across from TD Bank. I did. A gentleman, who turned out to be the owner, arrived at my home to check out the problem. Thirty minutes later he explained the issue, why it occurred and a resolution. He was patient, caring and most knowledgeable. to my delight, I received a very reasonable invoice. I have subsequently had my two cars and son's pickup serviced there. I remain impressed with their customer service and reasonable charges but particularly with the depth of knowledge base and skill set, not just in automotive matters. I am happy to post (my first ) that I have discovered a truly fine service center - Pugh's Service Center. Chris Zervas

I am in my late 70's. I live on Rt 8 just before Marydel. Today I was cutting my grass. My ditch in my front yard is long, deep and steep. It's been a while since I mowed my ditch and the grass was high. While I was cutting my ditch grass, a young man in A Pugh's truck and uniform stopped and asked if he could cut my ditch grass. Who does that? I didn't get his name but I am very thankful. I looked for your phone number in the phone book and couldn't find it, so here I am to say thank you. All the best.

Just bought a mower from Pughs. first they were very helpful in reccomending the kind of mower for my needs without the hard sell. Second, they delivered it for free and lastly I was working on my John Deere when Mark pulled up. He put a belt on for me which I was fighting with for an hour and didn't charge me anything.

Called three times and kept getting the "Please hold" message from the receptionist. Waited at least five minutes each time--no one responded, so I gave up.

I just bought a personal pace mower from Pughs. They put it together, gased it up, made sure everthing was ready for me. I cut grass as soon as I got home. This is the best mower I have ever had. For all of Pugh's care of me I bought them lunch, two pizzas. They were pack with customers and still they still found the time to treat me as a individual. Thank you Pugh's!

My husband had always cut our small lawn with a push mower. After a recent heart issue we felt it better he get a small rider. We didn't have much to spend. This was our first time at Pugh's and we met Mark Pugh. Mark didn't have exactly what we needed but he took our information. A couple of months had passed and we received a call from Mark. He said he had kept us on his mind and he had found the perfect mower for my husband. Indeed Mark did. We love him and his family. He did what he said he would. You just don't find those kind of folks much anymore. Thank you Pugh's.

Took my car into Pugh's for a brake repair that was going to cost 600 plus through another repair shop. Mark, got me on the road for less than 150. The staff was wonderful and was always professional. Thank you Pugh's.

they performed work on an item I left without checking with me first. Then they wanted to charge an exorbitant amount. I requested that they put the original parts back since the item was not worth the amount they wanted to charge. At this point they became very unfriendly. They eventually lowered the price but when i got the item home there was another problem which was not there when I left it. I would never ever patronize them again

They have a new influx of new employees. Rob and Patty that do not know the first thing about good customer service. If they don't change, they will go under as Customers will go elsewhere. I can expect that from Mr. Pugh as he is older and set in his ways, but Business is too hard to get to loose there regular clientel. Try T&T small engines in Hartly!
